The Council of the Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society are introducing a limited Amnesty for the registered progeny of Class 3 parents which will permit them to be presented for inspection and

classified according to the studbook rules from the 1st March 2024 to 31st October 2025 inclusive.

All Class 3 progeny are eligible for this Amnesty. In the case of Geldings, who are the progeny of Class 3 parents and are currently ineligible for classification, owners can submit a Gelding inspection

application and attend any of the listed inspection centres for mare/filly classifications in this Amnesty period. Geldings who are the progeny of Class 1 and Class 2 parents will still be eligible for classification into the studbook in accordance with current rules and procedures.
